2010 Medical Team

792 people were seen in the clinics
in villages around Somoto:
Cacauli
LaCarbonera
Santa Isabel
Motuce

Population in Somoto is around 20,000
another 24,000 in surrounding villages

Total of 44,000 people


 2010 - Distributed 500 Bibles
One Bible included in the bag with rice & beans and tooth brushes, tooth paste, and small bar of soap.

2010 Nicaragua Mission Trip

"That You May Know, Live, and Share the Love of Christ With the People of Somoto, Nicaragua"

Building a mission 2010
  • To encourage Christian fellowship among the Mission Team
  • To involve non-medical people in mission projects such as construction, Christian education, other skills
  • To initiate and develop relationships with families for whom new homes are being built
  • To initiate and develop medical and evangelism mission projects
  • To share the love of Christ in our behavior, activities and mission projects
  • To ensure all endeavors are coordinated and sustainable and appropriate for the culture

             Building a mission:

  • Personally share our skills, talents, and life expirences with the  people of
    Nicaragua.                                                                                         
  • Share the love of Christ in Christian education.                                        
  • Construct and improve homes for Somoto and Cacauli residents.                                                                                             
  • Provide medical, optical, and dental outreach.
   Contruction Team's Work
  • 1 concrete block home began ready for the roof
  • Added multiple courses of adobe to 2 homes

Children's Ministry

  • Bible Stories, songs and games all day long!
  • Lessons on how to keep your teeth and your body healthy

Casa Materna

  • Layettes were given to the nurse  for the new mothers-to-be.
